May and June are typically the clearest, August the cloudiest. Denali makes its own weather: Talkeetna can be sunny while the summit sits in a cloud of its own.
The road and the flights run May through September. In winter the sky is often clearer but the light is short and the Parks Highway is a different trip.
Talkeetna, at 60 miles, is the classic view and the only town on the sightline with a weather station. Anchorage sees the mountain on very clear days at 130 miles. The Parks Highway pullouts at miles 135 and 162.7 are closer than either.
The summit is 20,310 ft. Airport instruments only measure cloud to about 12,000 ft, so a clear reading here means clear below that. The three-day forecast, which uses the model's layered cloud at the summit itself, is the better guide for the top.

We read the cloud ceilings at the airports between Talkeetna and the summit, the cloud layers at the summit from the MET Norway model, and whether that cloud sits below 20,310 ft. No crowd reports.
Cloud forecasts stop being useful after about three days. A ten-day visibility forecast is a calendar with random numbers on it.
Different weather stations, different sky. The same morning can be fog in one and clear in the other, twenty miles apart. Each region page reads its own stations.
Airport instruments only measure cloud to about 12,000 ft. Everything above that, on a 20,310 ft mountain, comes from the forecast model. Wildfire smoke and haze can hide the mountain on a day the cloud numbers say clear. When the numbers are unsure, the page says so.
