In September 2026, California's DOT feed carried 3,742 alerts: 960 closures, 287 crashes, 1,966 construction reports and 86 weather reports. The routes with the most alerts were US-101, I-5 and I-80. Counts reflect what the feed publishes, so a state whose DOT posts only closures shows only closures. See the full California report.
