A red bridge is raised right now; amber means it went down within the last 20 minutes (traffic may still be clearing); green is down and open to traffic. The University and Lower Spokane St bridges don't publish live status. During boating season, Ship Canal bridges open frequently — federal rules give boats priority outside posted rush-hour restrictions.
