Is there a drawbridge status API?
Yes. The MileCheck API's /v1/bridges lists every Coast Guard-regulated drawbridge in a state, with its federal opening rule. Where an agency publishes live status, it says whether the bridge is up or down. Today that is Seattle, Florida and Louisiana.
What it returns
curl "https://api.milecheckapp.com/v1/bridges?apikey=YOUR_KEY&state=WA"
Each bridge has its name, waterway, position, rule citation (33 CFR 117) and the rule text. Bridges with a live feed add up or down, when it was seen, and the last raise and lower times. A bridge nobody reports comes back with live: null, never as closed.
Lift history
/v1/bridges/history gives each Seattle bridge's lifts this week and month, the typical and longest lift, and which hours it opens most.
