The September archive contained 2,227 crash alerts from 43 states and provinces. California's feed had the most, with 287.

- Oregon, I-5 — 25 of the state's 140 crashes. Most-named area was Columbia River on I-84 (7)
- Wisconsin, I-41 — 36 of the state's 135 crashes. Most-named area was Milwaukee on I-41 (17)
- Utah, I-15 — 46 of the state's 109 crashes
- Georgia, I-285 — 19 of the state's 99 crashes
7 crashes were marked fatal by the reporting DOT.

5,122 closures and 24,482 roadwork records were on the feeds in September, across all 51 jurisdictions.
- I-80 — 988 alerts. New York 314, New Jersey 252, California 128 and 9 more states. Mostly roadwork (79%).
- I-95 — 635 alerts. Connecticut 137, Virginia 136, New York 129 and 12 more states. Roadwork was the largest share (49%).
- I-10 — 560 alerts. Louisiana 137, Alabama 114, California 109 and 5 more states. Roadwork was the largest share (43%).
- I-287 — 490 alerts. New York 307, New Jersey 183. Mostly roadwork (98%). Most-named spot in New York is Westchester.
- US-1 — 476 alerts. New Jersey 256, New York 160, North Carolina 24 and 6 more states. Mostly roadwork (91%).
- I-70 — 472 alerts. Colorado 297, Ohio 54, Pennsylvania 44 and 7 more states. Mostly roadwork (72%).
- I-90 — 397 alerts. Illinois 141, New York 110, Wisconsin 45 and 8 more states. Mostly roadwork (65%).
- I-41 — 364 alerts. Wisconsin 364. Mostly roadwork (72%). Most-named spot in Wisconsin is Milwaukee.
Some state feeds also carry a neighbor's roads. New York's feed covers northern New Jersey, which is why I-80 shows up under New York.

320 wildfires were on the national wildfire list as of Sept. 30, 4 PM Pacific, in the states and provinces we track. Many are mostly or fully contained.
