Can you sleep at a rest area in Vermont?

Vermont sets no time limit, but overnight camping at rest areas is banned.

Camping and tents

Overnight camping at state highway facilities, including rest areas, is prohibited unless the facility is designated for it.

Signs at a rest area can set a different limit. Follow the posted sign. Turnpike and toll-road service plazas often have their own rules.
