Can you sleep at a rest area in Alaska?

Yes, up to the time limit posted at that rest stop.

Cars

Alaska sets no number of hours in its rules. You may not park or camp longer than the limit posted at the site.

Trucks

Same rule as cars.

Camping and tents

Camping is limited by the same posted limit.

Signs at a rest area can set a different limit. Follow the posted sign. Turnpike and toll-road service plazas often have their own rules.
