MileCheckDoes CarPlay show what mile marker I'm at?
Not by itself. Apple Maps on CarPlay shows your route and turns, not the mile marker you are passing. A CarPlay app can show it. MileCheck shows your mile marker to one decimal and the highway you are on, on the car screen.
What MileCheck shows on the car screen
- Your nearest mile marker, to one decimal, and the route.
- With Premium, alerts ahead on your road from the state DOT feeds.
- With Premium, start and end a trip log.
Full alert details stay on the phone. CarPlay shows a short line and asks you to park to read the rest.
Android Auto too
The same screens run on Android Auto.
Other apps
MileCheck is not the only mile marker app on CarPlay. Check the App Store for others and pick the one that covers your roads.
