From I-84, take exit 285 at North Powder — 19 miles north of Baker City, or 24 miles south of La Grande. From there it's OR 237 for about 4 miles, then the Anthony Lake Highway (county-maintained, becoming national forest Road 73) for roughly 16 more paved miles west to the resort. The road is described by the Forest Service as narrow and winding; it is paved and maintained the whole way to the resort.
ODOT's cameras and alerts cover I-84 and the short OR 237 stretch near North Powder — that's what the map above actually shows. The Anthony Lake Highway and Forest Road 73 beyond it aren't state-maintained roads, so there's no DOT camera or incident feed for the resort access road itself. Check the resort's own site for current road and snow conditions before you commit to the drive.
The resort operates all winter, so the access road is plowed and maintained up to the resort and campground. The road continuing west past the lakes, deeper into the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, is not maintained for winter travel and effectively closes. Chains or good winter tires are a sensible precaution regardless — it's a narrow, winding two-lane road at elevation.
